Arrive at Bethlehem at 8:30 am and we will hopefully be on the road at 8:45 am. Please have already eaten breakfast when you arrive. Please wear your Summer Stretch shirt or a Twins shirt. We will head straight to the Twins game. You are welcome to pack a lunch to eat on the way down or bring money to buy food/snacks at the ball park. The tickets all include: one hot dog and a soda. We will call or text when we are getting close to Bethlehem, our arrival time will depend on how long the game goes.
Please register by May 12, 2019 to guarantee a t-shirt and a Twins ticket. Please talk to Pastor Sarah if you will need scholarship funds. Please download this form and turn it into the office.
For all of the days, please wear your summer stretch t-shirt, closed toe shoes, and bring a water bottle and lunch.
We gather at Bethlehem at 9:00 am and depart to serve in our community for the morning. Some places we traditionally serve at include: Habitat for Humanity, Operation Sandwich, Parks and Rec, Camp Confidence, Salem West, nursing homes, and the Senior Center.
Lunch & Bible Study
Each Thursday at lunch we will picnic in the park, weather permitting, enjoy the outdoors and finish our lunch time with a short bible study.
In the afternoons we gather with other local ELCA churches to do something fun. We have: played mini golf at Pirates Cove, gone to the water park, played games and had ice cream, went swimming, attended a Twins game, and went to the beach.
