Worship is a central aspect to our lives as disciples of Christ. Kids are vital to our worship and we are thankful to have them join us. We also welcome kids, families, and all people to help with various aspects of worship. Some roles most often played by our younger kids include: readers, ushers, greeters, banner bearers, crucifers, torch bearers, and special music.
Readers help to read the word of God. Kids, youth, and families can choose to break up the lessons or have one particular person read all of the lessons. The reader is responsible for reading the lessons at one service of their choice. They read the Old Testament lesson, the psalm responsively, and the New Testament lesson. If you are interested in helping with reading, please sign up above.
Greeters welcome people in the sanctuary before worship begins. Greeters help welcome visitors and members alike. Ushers hand out bulletins and light candles before worship, help with offering, and assist in other various parts of worship. Youth and families are welcome to sign up to usher and greet.
Throughout various services during the year, we have opportunities for youth to assist in worship as torch bearers, banner bearers, and crucifers.
